IRON CADDY

I bought a new mini steam iron at the Darling Harbour Quilt Show and a pattern for a carrier which can be used as an ironing pad. I think it the cutest little thing! Punch With Judy for supplies.

The pictures got themselves out of order! They now run 2 - 1 - 3.

MARRIKECH

When ATASDA called for entries in their annual Suitcase exhibition I decided to enter. Months of "thinking about it", creative time, resulted in a panic to get it finished. I always work better to a deadline! My story.
Picture one shows the finished quilt on the hanger. Number 2 shows the tiled wall behind the 'spice' table and the carpets and wool for sale. Number 3 shows the palm tree with platted fabric trunk. I used some of my sister-in-law's photos of arches, in the background. Some of the arches are rubbings from our front door knocker!

Christmas time at Iluka

The kids had a great time "scurfing" in Iluka Bay.
Here are the other photo I have of Tom's quilt. My camera died so Trish took these photos.

Tom's Dragon Quilt

It took a while but Tom now has his Dragon Quilt. The quilt has panel with an oriental dragon and a koi fish leaping out of the waves. It is set in a variety of borders of asian print fabrics and pieced Flying geese. It was professionally quilted by Kay Murray a member of Eastwook Patchwork Quilters who has a longarm machine.
