Here is the Quiltie I sent to my 'swappee'. It is not a great photo, but is made of a collection of laces I have had on hand for ages. The top left is stamped and embroidered, the little heart buttons on the right set it off.

The Cornucopia swap was great fun. These little 'cones' stretched the ideas. The one I made was felt with lace and silk, needle felted and quilted in position.

These are ATCs. Artist trading
cards. I made a set of 6 with
gum leaves. Like a business
card they have my details on
the back.

Saturday afternoon

I have just lost two hours work! Learning my way around here is harder than thought.

I have been looking for photos of my swaps to post here.

This is a Quiltie from Geminista. It has beautiful embroidery. The colours match my new bedroom so I have framed it to hang. Geminista wrote a little rhyme on the back of the quilt.

Well here we are again

Old lady, forgets password, even forgets to add to blog. Lets hope I can keep it up a bit more regularly.

Linda's twins are two years old. grandies in Qld are 11, 9, 6, and 4 years old, (I think).

Patchwork group is going great. My patchwork is going slowly. The only thing I am working on regularly is my hand piecing of the border of my "Apple For The Teacher" quilt which has been a wop for three years!

I have made two bags recently, from a pattern on my Craft Forum. Not bad for someone who doesn't make bags.

A Quiltie swap on the forum brought me one from Pinup in NZ and I sent one to Geminesta.
